In the six months since the last “News” we have welcomed David McEvoy to the Practice along with a further 23 projects. David has had extensive experience in the Cheltenham area and he brings a “modern” design flair to complement the strengths of the Practice. He is also particularly strong on the requirements of the new Part L standards for energy efficiency and we look forward to producing even more environmentally friendly schemes.

The new projects range from a new small housing development for three houses to the conversion of a Listed Barn to the construction of a new swimming pool and its enclosure to new stables to the restoration of a condemned housing block set in a “Dickensian” courtyard. A number of these are for repeat Clients and some are from personal recommendation, always a good testimonial and much appreciated. The larger projects remain active, now mostly being on site. The biggest at Abbey Gate, the subject of the last “News” is progressing well and should be completed in the latter part of this year.

Nearing completion is a new poolhouse in Hampstead, London which demonstrates that the Practice is equally skilled at creating cutting edge modern design.

This modern poolhouse is nearing completion in London and incorporates a stainless steel structure and ‘planar’ glass roof. A water feature along the rear wall is lit by optical fibre lights.
