This project comprised the removal of C20 extensions on a Listed Grade II Cottage in Kelmscott and the building of new extensions using traditional stone construction and a modern glazed façade. The project enhances the character of the original cottage with a design that is simple and uncluttered. A linear rooflight provides visual separation between the cottage and the extension and allows the heritage building to be seen through the glazing at all times of the day and night. This principle was accepted by the Council's conservation team and Consent was obtained with only minor amendments.
Other work included alterations and additional floors to the outbuildings and a new heated outdoor swimming pool.
