This factory was designed and built for Johnson Security who had outgrown their various production buildings scattered around the trading estate and required an economical purpose-built assembly factory. The building is a standard portal frame shed with a front elevation articulated by the forklift entrance doors and roofs counterpointed by the low roof over the pedestrian doors. This analogy of crenulations related to the client's logo and the building itself is now an important part of the company's marketing image. The property is located near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.
